|  The Equestrian Guard Duties 
Equestrian
Guard – The jousting knights often participate in Parade, and overeager
children as well as inattentive adults need to be protected from being
trampled by the horses. This is the job of the Equestrian Guard. Typically
comprised of partially- or fully-armored Royal Guards (the larger, the
better), the EG are commanded by an Officer or Corporal. If you wish to
join their ranks, simply speak up at Muster.
  
Just remember
that the knights will need to return to the lists after parade is over!
The return trip is typically done at a much more brisk pace than the parade,
and there is no rest for the weary!
