to any of the Royal Family. But if I shall hear of , or by any way understand
any such, or that any manner of Bodily hurt, dishonour, or prejudice may be
in agitation, contriving, or likely to happen, I shall do as much as in me
lyeth to prevent, stop and hinder the same, and besides to disclose and
discover it with all speed to His Majesty, or to such of His Majesty's
Council as I can or may come next unto , or to me or one of my Officers on
duty, and by all ways and means I can possibly, to cause the same to be made
known. I swear to be
obedient to my Captain and all other of my Officers, of the said Guarde in
all things concerning my office in His Majesty's Service. I shall keep the
Kings peace in my own person both in the Court, and all other places as much
as in me lyeth, and shall cause all others to do the same to the utmost of my
power. All these things I
